WHAT THIS JOB IS ABOUT
To provide Human Resources (HR) support and legal advisory services to management and staff within Mobisol Tanzania in accordance with HR policies, procedures and statutory / compliance requirements.
YOUR TASKS
• Managing and overseeing the disciplinary policy/processes within Mobisol and ensuring the same implemented in accordance with the Tanzania labor laws
• Implement and improve HR labour practices in relation to the existing legislation governing labour relations in Tanzania
• Coordinate disciplinary as well as grievance policy and procedure interpretation and understanding and provide employee relations advice to HRBPs and the business to eliminate the need for external counsels
• Together with business units, investigating a variety of employee relations related issues to ensure that effective legal compliant resolutions are done in a timely manner
• Coaching line managers and business partners on employee relations best practice to reduce number of Employee Relations issues
• Administration of Human Resources policies manual and ensure effective communication and engagement through HR Business Partenes is done of any changes to HR policies manual to all staff
• Liaising & maintaining relationships with Vendors providing HR Services (e.g. KAKUTE, Medical Insurers.)
• Ensure adherence and governance to Mobisol structure in place; develop and document standard processes and procedures including vendors management SLAs
• Ensure non locals employees have proper documentations at all times of their stay in Tanzania
• Conduct HR snap checks to HR department on quarterly basis as part of ensuring HR Audit is green at all times also make follow up to all HR Audit findings as highlighted by Auditors
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• A degree in Legal or any related field
• Knowledge of the applicable legislations pertaining to Tanzania labor laws
• Previous work experience in HR Legal activities is an added advantage
• A qualified lawyer (An advocate) would have an added advantage
• Strong sense of urgency and time management abilities
• Very high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
